The pictures, otherwise, show what I'm thinking of. I can't figure out how to make add-ons and I don't want to. It's merely a suggestion to the BF team. shrug

Since the UI in the 2.8 is still mostly at the planning (initial patch/branch) implementation is certain cases it's still early to tell how the finalized UI will look like. Currently there is a writeup of the UI workshop from last year. Also you can follow the development on this site and irc meetings.
