new file > import dxf then error and cant open the dxf file

Please follow our submission template and guidelines and make a complete, valid bug report, with required info, precise description of the issue, precise steps to reproduce it, small and simple .blend and/or other files to do so if needed, etc.

Is the problem only happening with one particular .dxf file made with specific export options or most of your .dxf files ?

.dxf importer have a lot of options. Problem may be related to one of them. But we cannot fix the issue if problem is not clearly identify.
