OSX 10.13.1
2,2 GHz Intel Core i7
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1 GB
Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB

Blender Version
Broken: v.2.78 Verts:21,735
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
Want to render my scene (with "render", I never tried "animation") with blender render on OSX 10.13.1.
Rendering starts but does not show any progress. Only several small yelllow crosses are shown on render screen.
Cannot stop rendering by pressing esc or clicking cross beside render progress
Rendering (also animation) was possible with OSX 10.12

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Click on camera icon, click on "Render"

My 10.13.1 works.
Can you download the latest 2.79 from build bot and use factory settings to see how that works for you?

Joel, I thank you so much! Everything is fine with 2.79.
Sorry, I was in panic and that made me stupid.
Bad idea not to look for an update first.
Hope my panic will avoid panic of other users (-:
