Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
blender v2.76 64 bit install not working on XP 64bit machine - it reports not valid 32bit application on execution of blender.
(However, Blender 2.76 and earlier still supports Windows XP and OpenGL 1.4 graphics cards.) Allegedly....

This is sadly not a configuration we support anymore, it may have worked when it came out, but if it's currently not working there really isn't anything we can do about this.
it installs a 32bit exe. check your install or compiler settings.
what's the last known working version then ?

Support for XP was completely dropped after 2.76. I think XP 64 support was dropped much earlier, maybe with 2.69 or 2.70?
