Random saving format for Material ID and Object ID in OpenEXRMultiLayer
once is MaterialID.R (and G, B and A) another render (same scene 3 min later) MaterialID.V (layers listed in Fusion 7, 8 and 9 )

I'm not sure, what is the exact bug here? And is the reason you removed BF Blender because you are talking about standalone Cycles?

In any case, always follow bug report guidelines, they exist for a reason ;)
