I'm on a Lenovo Laptop running Manjaro Linux. Blender 2.79 has been running great until I wanted to put up a Window in my Bedroom Sean. When I wanted to put the hole in wall, the button that says auto boolean gives me an error message . I even unsalted Blender 2.79, That didn't help.

Please can you specify what is the add-on in question?
From the image it seems that is Archipack and not Archimesh.

Can you please attach a simple blend file, demonstrating the issue in question?

bed room_002 .blend When I put a window with up Archipach and want to put the hole in wall, the auto booean gives me an error message. I'm sorry if this dosen't help. I'm disabled from birth with Ceberal Palsy and earn very slowy . Blender is Awesome. I hope I sent you what is needed.

Hi George,
Select your wall before autoboolean.
Also note that autoboolean is designed to work on closed wall mesh, and may produce unexpected result on open surfaces, as regular boolean do.

Checked under archipack 1.2.8 blender 2.79, windows 10, with wall selected it does work as expected.
