System Information
I am using Intel core i3 - 7th gen CPU 3.90 GHz
16 Gb Of Ram DDR4
Zotac Nvidia Ge force GT 710 DDR5 *2 Graphic card

Blender Version
I am using latest official release 2.79a

whenever i tried to render on my gpu it shows an error CUDA error: illegal address in cuCtxsynchronize(), line 1372
This error occurs when i switch from cpu to gpu and hit render even with small scenes like even even with that cliff from blenderguru.com but when i use test build of 2.8 for doing render of same scene, that error didn't occur it just renders my scene, probably because it don't have any option for gpu rendering , otherwise this error occurs in 2.8 and 2.9a.
please help me i want to know is that a bug or my pc has some problem or my graphic card has some problem .
i just bought my pc 2 weeks ago

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps

fixed that file attachment for you, doesn't seem to be anything particularly taxing on this scene, maybe you're hitting a windows driver timeout? try using a smaller tile size.

Please try the latest daily build (not 2.80), it has many changes and fixes which might resolve this problem:
https://builder.blender.org/download

However, it's probably not that useful to do Cycles GPU render on a GT 710 graphics card. I think your CPU is more powerful than your GPU for ray tracing.

For latest drivers, make sure you uninstall the drivers, then download the ones from the NVIDIA website and enable Clean Installation in the installer.

Cuda error at line 1372

I struggled with this problem for months. Used different computers, re-installed Blender, re-installed windows (I am using 8.1 & 10), installed new and old drivers for my Nvidia card, changed the TDR and everything I could think of...but no luck.

Then it occurred to me that the Gforce Experience runs in the background (and being in my opinion, not a well written program), may be overlapping the memory of Blender or at least hogging the memory. So I un-installed it and magic!!! All Cuda errors and memory errors went away. Blender works again as it should!!!

I hope this works for you, as it did for me. Unfortunately, I did not discover this for months, until I had pulled every single strand of hair out of my head.

@megantus : have you tried above solution to see if it works for you?

I tried changing my TDR settings and it did not solve the Cuda Errors for me. While I currently left the changes to TDR in place (2 sec delay) The real fix occurred after the un-installation of "Nvidia Experience" . It is odd to me that now Blender runs better than ever with only an i3 and 660Ti 2 Gb card! Additionally, the way Blender(2.79b) accessed memory improved greatly. My system did not even hiccup when memory usage reported by Blender, hit over 7000 MB!

I think it is easy to remove "Nvidia Experience" to see what happens. If it doesn't work for you, just re-install it.

I am not an expert. I am just stating what worked for me.
