Short description of error
unwrap / reset make wrong uv map

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps
Unwrap a cube (the default unwrap like a cross )
make seam and reset with Reset
this will make a square uv for all faces of cube
create a material
add a texture
the texture is not apply right ( see all faces of cube ).
I check the normals of faces and are good .

I think the uv map square is not reset right from first Unwrap
maybe the texture is folded with wrong normals on some of the faces

The Reset operator doesnt rewind to your first unwrap, instead it maps each face to fill the UV grid, see the manual
This is expected behaviour, not a bug.
