Short description of error
If you move linked blend with Armature group and relink later, you lose rotation order settings. Even it is set in source blend.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Unzip
  2. Open "scene.blend"
  3. Relink moved "linked.blend" and save
  4. Reopen "scene.blend"
  5. Bone's rotation order is Quaternion, even it is Euler in source file

Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) lowered the priority of this task from 90 to 50.

Confirmed on relocate and reload.

When a proxy gets invalid, there is some stuff that wont be done in pose_proxy_synchronize (including implicit copying of rotmode)

Without a whole lot of research, I assume that pose-related stuff is then not really touched again (even if the armature lib gets relocated/reloaded -- it's just the armature, not the proxy...)

Not sure (yet) how to get out of this again and before this gets into a time-sink, I would kindly ask @Bastien Montagne (mont29) to share his wisdom here...

Thanks for the report, but that's actually yet another great example of how bad it can be to roll into the darkest black magic bathing the whole proxy code.

Am not sure this is solvable, pretty certain though it is not solvable without a significant amount of pain, hacks and sweat, so would really consider this a known limitation for now, and wait for next system (static overrides) to become fully operational in Blender2.8 ;)

Hello, I found that you also lost all constraints, after relink. So it destroys whole rig. I don't know if it is solvable.
