Thanks for the report, but this add-on is not developed by Blender, please report the bug to the original author.

If you are trying to use this in Blender 2.80, don't. It is too early. I notice the installation instructions for Decal Machine say:

//Requirements
Blender 2.78 or Blender 2.79
2.79 is recommended
Cycles
Only stable releases are supported, the latest of which is 2.79.
