Short description of error
Open GL render black is not black
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I don't know what to say on this guys
but we have large shade{F5033540} trees
both for objects lighting - I feel eevee getting stuck on compiling
is the there a way to choose when to compile shaders
I really dont know what to tell you on this accept drag 5 of your largest shader trees into blender and make mess with the textures and hit undo a bunch of times and see if it works
Thanks Guys

Hi, you can uncheck "Use Nodes" in the World tab in Properties Window. That turns off the Environment light.
Unless you give more information, this can't be answered. Just post screenshots of your shade{F5033540} trees......
Your descriptions need to have more information otherwise this is Sherlock Holmes material.
I remember once that Eeevee stopped respodning to me changing the HDR intensity. I had to turn World Nodes off and on again for it to work. That was odd.. But an isolated issue that I'll investigate if it happens again.
If you don't want to share .blend files because of NDA you can always strip as much as possible down and share so that there's something to grasp.
hi adam what you have described is what has happened to me as well have tried to reproduce it but it's kinda random when it happens system-info.txt
Maybe graphics card thing?
unchecking and rechecking use nodes works i just give it a second to calculate.
when it happens again i will try to capture it
@AdamEarle then I suggest we consider this issue as resolved and you can close this task.
Open a new one in the future once there is a great explanation what steps lead up to it getting broken.
It really helps if the issue is reproductible than "it happened that one time and I am not really sure what it was"
I felt something was not working when it happened to me and it confused the hell out of me but it's important to not forget that Eevee is in development and hadn't been released officialy yet.
When it comes to Undo there might be something in the new Dependency Graph that doesn't align here well but we can't be sure and it's not wise to go chasing after unknowns.
hey mate so we integrated noise to generate the appearance of moving clouds with the HDRI world lighting
as were hooking up nodes I and massaging the nodes we undo and the would cause the world to go black.
We used three layers of noise on top of the HDRI to create animated clouds. It's part of a new lighting rig for testing out materials and the way that light and shadows respond to them. I hope that helps clear things up even more
Thanks, Ad

@AdamEarle It needs to be reproducible every time.
Unless this is reproducible possibly from a .blend (or exact steps) then it does not make sense to keep it open.
