orbiting in sculpt mode with Multires modifier

System Information
Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: GTX 970

Blender Version
(example: 2.80, edbf15d3c044, blender2.8, 2018-11-28, as found on the splash screen)

When I add a Multires Modifier to a mesh, Subdivide it, and enter into sculpt mode, the model disappears when I orbit around it and then comes back when I stop orbiting.

If I just add the multires modifier it's fine. It's only when I click subdivide on the multires modifier that it disappears when orbiting.

If you turn off fast navigate it fixes it.

Cannot reproduce here (mesh showing fine in low resolution while orbiting..., linux, 970m)

  • are GPU drivers up to date?
  • does this happen with all meshes (or just a particular one)?
  • just to make sure: could you share your blendfile for inspection?
