Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
This addon (https://github.com/Antonioya/blender/tree/master/auto_bone_controller) is broken.

Maybe the how-to is just wrong (select bone in edit mode and hit the button)?

IIRC this add-on is not part of the official blender distribution, so we cannot support it here, so I'm going to close the report.
Anyway, if you have this error, usually is because your armature object and armature datablock have different names (the add-on does not support that)
Verify the name of you Armature datablock and change to be equal to object.
