Blender 2.8 toggling collection visibility causes instant crashes after extensive use of edit mode

Worked: Bug persists for couple of weeks now, used to be okay previously in 2.8.

Hi! I'm getting constant random crashes when I'm editing mesh objects in the scene and then exiting the edit mode and pressing on Collection visibility hotkey (1,2 or 3 etc.)

To reproduce the effect try extruding, deleting faces and work quite fast with a mesh object in edit mode for 10 or more minutes, quickly exit it and press collection keys to toggle respective visibility 1,2,3 etc. It should crash.

Hi, thanks for the report.

Please try to find a way to reproduce the issue more easily. Working 10 minutes in a file until the crash appears does not really help because it could be caused by so many different things. Maybe record your screen while working to track down the bug.

Ideally you can give us a .blend file in which we only have to do one or two things to make it crash. Usually that is possible.

Hi! Sorry, seems that the bug might have been caused by something else, I couldn't replicate it afterwards.
