I can confirm the issue. But this node socket is somehow corrupted, and I can't reproduce creating a node with this problem. When I add a new light falloff node it works fine.

Do you know how to create a node in this state? Otherwise it may be a bug that was already fixed at some point.

After hanging around i finally achieve to reproduce it:

  • With a fresh file, a light path node and a light falloff node
  • Connect "Is Camera Ray" to "Strenght"
  • Add a reroute node between them
  • ctrl+x to dissolve the reroute node
  • ctrl+z to redo the reroute
  • Again ctrl+x to dissolve the reroute node
  • The light falloff is now confused

As far as i tried, it seems to work with every factor socket
