Short description of error
Normals sub menu. The menu items Normal Vector and Face Strength are not selectable. You get response from the button above or below. But the two buttonsNormal Vector and Face Strength are not clickable and doesn't show the tooltip.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

Open Blender, enter Edit mode. Go to Mesh Menu - Normals Sub menu - and try to click at Normal Vector button. The button doesn't response in any way. Same goes for Face Strength.

Looking at the code shows that this is in fact a label, not a button. And so it's of course nothing that you can click at. But this will confuse users, and let them think that this operator is broken. They don't look at the code.

Event Timeline

Thanks. This is, as you point out, just bad UI, not really a broken feature.

Still, we should fix it. I may have time in a week or so.

It would also be good to add an easier way to get to that menu in the first place. If you are using this a lot, it gets old to go to Mesh > Normals all the time. We could add a shortcut to open that menu.

The normal editing UI has been improved, this is no longer an issue.
