I can not reproduce this with the latest commit.

I'm guessing that this might already been fixed but the fix didn't make it to the released build.

Can you see if this is still and issue for you with a build from tomorrow?

It is now uses bump mapping instead of true displacement by default. See: https://developer.blender.org/rBS3a527357a556491406ee9d33a79ab0af5f79e326

Oh, thank you!

It is a pity that this function was abandoned, it was convenient for me when creating new materials.
I don’t even know how to bypass it now, since the displacement modifier works differently, I can’t get it to work with nodes :(

It was very convenient to adjust the offset in the nodes and immediately see the result.

There is no way to enable the offset by the old type in the settings? Or in this case, is it possible to connect the offset modifier to the nodes?

It is just the default that has changed (it is not abandoned).
You can still use the same node setup and then set it Properties Editor > Material tab > Settings panel > Surface subpanel > Displacement Method.

Will close this [as it is working as intended and not a bug], but feel free to comment again if issues persist...

Oh yes, thank you so much !!!
This is exactly what I was looking for.
I'm sorry that I could not figure it out myself.
