- Dependency not updating reliably with driver affecting Renderability, and Renders not always honouring current state of Renderability under driver affect.
- Also viewport visibility no longer able to add driver to control at all. I have been doing both of these in 2.79 and before quite regularly
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Attached simple .blend. Small block z location drives Renderability with z=0 -> renderable, z=1 restricted. Notice lack of reliable correlation. Works if you hit update dependencies in driver editor after each move, but even then actual renders don't always honour current Renderability state.
And yes I have a regular use-case for driving viewport visibility alongside renderability, to control 'parts replacement' style rigs. I hope this feature can be fixed/reinstated soon. Thanks!
