When I try to assignate a shortcut to a key + Right Mous Button, the shortcut won't work, it is bypassed by the menu (wich is assigned to the Right Mouse Button alone)

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I'm trying to costumise my keyboard mapping to match the one I alway used (XSI user forever!) It includes to map the orbit function to the S+Right Mouse Button. The problem is that as soon as the right click alone is assigned to an other function, this function (call menu in this case) overpass the S + right mouse button function.

Event Timeline

I'm not sure if such key combinations are supported. Maybe only shift, ctrl, alt and space can be used to control the behavior of other events. @Brecht Van Lommel (brecht)?

If you bind 'S' key + 'RMB' to an action, but other actions are bind to only 'S' or 'RMB', then the input of 'S' + 'RMB' will be consumed by the two other actions, resulting in the 'S'+'RMB' never ever being triggered.

I've previously argued about this problem in input handling, but there is no easy fix to it. Best to design your hotkey settings to avoid having a modifier-emulating key to be assigned alone to another action.

We do not currently support this configuration. Perhaps sometime in the future.

If you want to, you can post this on and create a proposal on how exactly the logic should work.
