New Material Preview is computing Refraction/SSS when disabled in material(Eevee) #63618

Short description of error
Well, I do not know if this should work like this:

mat_preview.blend

It happens that things between viewport and preview material change a lot depending on various combinations between Render Tab settings and the configurations in Material Tab. For example in the first sphere, preview is computing refraction even when Screen Space Reflections is disabled in Render tab. In the second sphere, it looks somewhat pink in material preview if Subsurface transparency is disabled in material tab, but to be honest, the same thing happens in Viewport. But if you disable Subsurface Scattering from the render tab and you enable Subsurface Translucency in material Tab, Preview shows SSS effect.

Scene render settings are not intended to affect preview renders, it just has all features enabled. Materials exist independent of specific scenes.

So as far as I can tell, there is no bug here. It's the same in Cycles.
