Short description of error
In Grease Pencil, under edit mode, the option of Stroke >> Convert to Geometry is not present.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
By going to 2d animation, edit mode, selecting the figure then clicking the Strokes option. Screenshot included.

Was it ever in the Stroke menu?
Afaik this operator only works in Object mode and so it's in the Object menu:
Also in the context menu in object mode:
From what I can tell, there is supposed to be the option under the stroke menu-- Here's a screencap of the tutorial I've been following. I've also contacted the guy who made the tutorial just in case he's known of other people running into the same problem, but I haven't heard back from him. When I did a cursory google search to see if other people had had the same problem, one post came up saying it was indeed a bug and that he'd had to have it fixed. Unfortunately the poster didn't mention how he got it fixed.

@mendio Can you clear things up here? Is the removal from the Strokes menu intended or not?
yes, convert to other object types works only in Object Mode, the same behavior as with the Curve objects for example
Changed status from 'Open' to: 'Archived'
Ok, I thought so. Marking as Invalid then.
I’m so sorry to be a bother. But if it only works in object mode and not edit mode, how was it the tutorial I was following was in edit > Strokes? If it’s an earlier version, is there any way I can access that version? Since I’m completely new to blender I’m entirely reliant on tutorials for getting the hang of it.
Thank you so much for your time and I’m so sorry for being such a bother. Thank you guys for everything you do! It’s a wonderful program and so far the best for a beginner learning 3D rendering software. But it’s a steep learning curve for sure!
