Event Timeline

The green circle visible on left was replaced by the green text shown on the right. It was felt that it better indicated the selected object

Can you show me screen shot. I have difficult understand text.

The backdrop should stay imho - it suplements text colouring, since it indicates an ObData is in Edit Mode even when the tree is collapsed and the text not shown. Only thing it lacked was the fact that backdrop's outline wasn't use fill's colour and the border's opacity was not controlable.

What is backdrop, imho, indicates, Obdata?

Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) triaged this task as Normal priority.

@William Reynish (billreynish) : subscribing you here to make some sort of judgement...
(I guess this is not really a bug? -- but will leave open since there might be possible improvement here still...)

@William Reynish (billreynish) Oh really allright and I just put new report part 1.

I am sorry I just accident wrong message myself.

Closing this, as this was an intentional change to use text color instead, which does not conflict with the icon.

What is intentional, instead, and conflict?
