Short description of error

I do not know who maintains this tool UV Squares in UV Editor but there is a simple problem - a bug for me.
When you have deformed object that still fully built with quads then in most cases this UV Squares tool cannot do Snap to Axis for island until this island will be a separated/splitted part of that mesh.
It should work based on islands marks - not a mesh structure.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[Please describe the exact steps needed to reproduce the issue]
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

Just create subdivided Cube, add some deform modifier with some clouds texture, then apply modifier and start to mark some Seams that are not based on the basic Cube edges (mark some L-shape parts, T-shape parts or what ever that does not look like a simple plane shape).
When you try to Snap to Axis an for example L-shape island then it probably will not work until this L-shape island will be separated by Split command ( - [x] shortcut key)

What for we have to find out and use that kind of tricks to make a tool work as it should ?
