Worked: (optional)

The cursor move tool at the bottom is broken. If you drag rightclick and then change any of the X Y Z Move numbers.

  1. Start blender;
  2. Right-click drag to set cursor position somewhere.
  3. On bottom right change any of the X, Y, Z location and the Cursor just moves like crazy. Even double clicking on any of the XYZ values without changing it moves the cursor!

I tested this out on a win64 laptop on the 6/22/2018 build and can confirm the unexpected behavior.

In Left click select, I dragged to move the 3d cursor. Then I adjusted the z-axis value by 0.0001m in the popup tool menu that shows the cursor coordinates. The cursor moved about 1m in the y-axis. Simply double-clicking the values without change also caused the cursor to move in the Y-axis by approximately 1 meter.

Sebastian Parborg (zeddb) lowered the priority of this task from Needs Triage by Developer to Confirmed, Medium.

Seems like the redo panel applies the transformation on top of the current. (Instead of modifying the current result)

Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) renamed this task from 2.8 Cursor location change breaks and is not working. to 2.8 3D cursor move REDO acts as if it adds on top of original move.Mon, Sep 23, 1:41 PM

Actually, this has been reported before, see T57100: Redo panel does not work for the 3d cursor, will merge these reports...
