Short description of error
As Pablo stated here , where he said that with the new icon it should also appear on mesh as a modifier. Which is weird because it never did that. It still doesnt show. Also the typer is never shown like with Lamps and Probes or modifiers. The same counts for Constraints, an icon is added but not the type.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Expected Behavior
That when adding a Forcefield or a Constraint, its Type also shows in the outliner so it will be identified more easily. There was a big hustle about the lamp icon not switch in the properties panel. I think this is the next in line for an update as well
See attached image with examples of items which do show its type. Also see Constraint does show a name but not an icon. Where Forcefields still shows completely nothing of its Type. Also note that the Cube has a Forcefield applied but doesnt show anything of that in the Outliner.

Please, for this kind of issues open a thread in the Paper Cuts section of https://devtalk.blender.org
For this in particular you might also propose it for the Outliner gsoc: https://devtalk.blender.org/t/gsoc-2019-outliner-improvements-ideas
