Short description of error
If under Preferences/Display Resolution scale is changed for example from 1.00 to 1.05 Shader editor zoom in/out crushing blender if using trackpad for zooming.. Blender is not crushing if you use View menu / zoom in/out.
When I restore to factory settings, resolution scale 1.00 zooming in/out with trackpad not crushing blender and working normaly.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

Changing the value using the trackpad is really essential?
Does it crash also if you enter and confirm different resolution values?
Can you try disabling overlays? (just press the button that is usually above the camera icon in the upper right corner of the 3D view).
