System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.17134 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1070/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 419.17

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.80 (sub 74), branch: master, commit date: 2019-07-11 13:50, hash: 06312c6d2d
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
[When you disable/dimm ANY kind of toggle icon (properties of a whole colection) and scroll the list to a point that collection icon goes out of the view, all the toggle icons in the collection undimm by their own. - for example - the "eye" icon, which controls visibility of the whole colection. Normaly when you dimm it, all "eye" icons in that colection will dimm allso and stay like that untill you enable visability of the whole colection. Short view: ERROR.mp4

The same bug apears with all the toggle icons when you test them - visibility, clickability, render etc. Names of objects stay dimmed like they shood but toggle icons are changing not knowing why, even when in reality objects are disabled.

Its time consuming when you're looking for an object do disable it from the render but its disabled only in the viewport. Hundreds of objects and you just want to make a fast scroll and stare on the toggle icons and not on the name of the object. Its much faster. :) ]

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[ Steps: 1. Make a Collection with couple of objects in it just to have something to scroll in the outliner tab. 2. Disable visibility or any toggle of the wholle collection. 3. Scroll down to a moment that the icon of the colection dissapears out of your view and now observe how toggle icons in that collection behave. They show that every icon is enabled.
test file: {F7609318}]

[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

I would nominate you for best bug report of the month if that were a thing. (You need to watch his bug demo video guys).

I can confirm the behavior he describes here on Windows 10 as well.

:) This is a classic indeed, instant smile...

Can also confirm, havent looked at code, but this cant be by design I assume... Maybe @dfelinto can have a look? CC @brecht

@GavinScott @lichtwerk @dfelinto @brecht :D Drowsiness comes in the form of humor: D Would be fantastic if objects invisible in the viewport, but visible in rendere, had their own toogle icon (viewport_VS_render) or at least were somehow differently marked eg. with color: D

"Viewport VS Render" "LOTR mode" toogle icon idea:
It would give something like a "ring effect" from The Lord Of The Rings - you put it on your finger -> you disappear from the viewport and appear in render (normal world vs nazgul realm).
IT would shorten the search time for objects significantly.
Now It's more like looking for a needle in a haystack. And if there is still another proposition - everywhere mode - visible both in viewport and in render (like the nazguls). Both options at least in the "search by" list.

Hi, I didn't read through your proposal, we are focusing on fixing the last minutes bugs in time for the 2.80 release. Proposals are welcome, but are better fit elsewhere though (devtalk, bf-committers, ...).
That said, D5272 should fix the reported issue.
