System Information
Operating system:windows
Graphics card:msi gtx1050ti

Blender Version
Broken: Blender 2.80 Release Candidate 3
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error

I have trouble designing the circle with the Circle tool because I have to guess its size when drawing

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Create a circle. It's big when you drag it, but when you release the mouse you will notice that the circle is smaller than it looked

Cannot reproduce here (circle remains the same size while dragging and after releasing the mouse)

  • maybe you could share your .blend file where this happens [possibly related to a setting in your file]?
  • maybe share screenshots of this action failing?

Ah, I assume this is about the size indicator circle (shortcut F) not matching the actual stroke radius on canvas?
@antoniov : I assume this is intended behavior? (it would be hard to adjust stroke radius on slim strokes if the circle would be the actual size I guess -- it would be tiny in many occasions...)

@lichtwerk Yes, the size is relative but is not the real size... I think Campbell had some ideas about that, but in any case it could be very difficult to get what it's the "real" final thickness because the stroke could be reprojected.

Yes you are right. It is a little difficult to draw a circle with a Stroke because it will shrink

Please explain about the Curve / Line / Circle / Arc / Box tool why handles sometimes appear and sometimes disappear. Of course I'm sure Show Gizmo options are active and I don't use shortcuts

@mobin: I think the handles were now reported and worked on in another report?
@antoniov: about the size: I think this might be more of a TODO and can not really be considered a bug?

Long story short: could this report be closed?

@lichtwerk yes, can be closed.
