Short description of error
When using Edge Creasing and Subdivision Surface modifier the result is inconsistent for .55-.99 values. For 0-.55 the mesh updates gradually as one would expect. However, after that inserting .6 .7 .8 .9 no visual change can be observed. At value of 1 the mesh snaps to the final creasing. (which is considerably sharper than the .55)

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
-Select the default cube.
-Add a subdivision surface modifier
-Go to edit mode and select single edge (or all edges)
-Press N to open tab and go to edge data to scrub Crease value
-Observe how 0-.55 change is linear but after that nothing really happens before 1.0
