Ghost vertex appear when switching from front view to right view #68540

Short description of error

When selecting vertex in front view, change the x value and then switch to right view the vertex is moved back to the original position and it looks like there are appearing ghost vertexs in the right view, I can select them move them but when moving the view the view they are gone. reuzenrad1a.blend

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Select vertex in front view, change x value, go to right view and it has not moved, see attached file and images

That is a bit confusing at first indeed. However, there is no bug.
The issue is that you see the other side of the ring in orthographic view.

You'll find the selected vertex when you rotate the view and then zoom out so that you see the entire model.
