Driver not following scale #69112

Short description of error
I was trying to redo the ik/fk switch for my character rig so I can make the animations more easier, but now I'm in this situation where the driver doesn't follow the applied scale of the armature. So instead of following the frames I set to change the value of the driver, the value gets multiplied 100 times

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

Go to the scene tab, set the unit scale to 0.01, use metric.
Now scale up the armature to 100 and apply the scale.

Now add a driver to a bone, and make that driver change the value from the location, rotation or scale from the bone you want it to follow. Make sure you use average value cause I don't know if happens for the other types

Boom, the values get multiplied by 100.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? if so, what is the fix for it?

and just in case you can't understand what I am talking about, here's a blend file that I manage to give it a similar problem to this one.

The problem is now fixed, I had to use scripted expression instead in order to get the driver value correctly. var/# is what fixed my issue.
