Cant Get Render Passes Out of Blender 2.8 Anymore? #69155

Cant Get Render Passes Out of Blender 2.8 Anymore?
Ok, I have run into another problem with Blender 2.8 ~ I'm having a problem getting the 'File Output None' to actually create any of my files on render. They don't show up in the designated file folder I select. Evee or Cycles. This is very important to me as a VFX editor for compositing in other programs of course.

I'm worried that It might be due to a very old group from Blender 2.6 that I have just constantly append to every newer version of Blender. I have added named the group 'Add --> Multiply'
I use this to combine Cycles Direct, Indirect, and Color properties. Also is that the most efficient way to get individual files of the Diffuse, Glossy, and Transmission? Thanks

The appended node groups in your example file are quite simple so those probably aren't the cause of your issue.

However, are you aware that your file output nodes are muted? This disables them.

Glad I could help! To answer your other question, the node setup you have is definitely not the best way to save render passes (although I've been forced to do the same thing in order to work with legacy pipelines). Look into the Multilayer OpenEXR format. Choosing this option in your main output settings will cause all enabled render passes to automatically save to a single .EXR file without any node work or technically incorrect color transforms.
