Outliner hotkey for 'Delete' does nothing. #70059

Short description of error
It was pointed out to me that the outliner had no hotkey for deleting items, and through testing found out that if one is set (I tried X and the Delete key) it seems to do nothing at all. In the context menu, it also says 'undocumented operator', which might be relevant.
Clicking the 'Delete' option in the context menu does work, and it does also show the chosen hotkey.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Add hotkey for delete in the outliner's context-menu
Select object
press hotkey

It seems the X and Delete key can just be used to delete collections. It also says "Delete Collection" in the keymap editor, so I don't think this is a bug.
There should be a proper tooltip for the operator though, but that is a completely different issue, so I'm closing this report.

@JacquesLucke I think you missed a bit, because I'm talking about 'Objects', and 'Delete', not 'Delete Collection'. If you follow my steps, are you able to delete an object?

That works for me, but only when I use a shortcut key that is not used for something else. Otherwise there is a collision which comes with its own problems.
