Strange geometry solution with Mask extractor

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
With the file provided, original mesh and extracted mesh, select the bone and make a "Mask Extract" so you can see how it create a mesh with a bad topology mesh.

Please provide more information on how to reproduce the bug. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do in that file. Also make a screenshot that shows what's wrong.

Sorry, I mistake the file for production with the file to show the bug.

I can reproduce the issue. Please prepare the file a bit better next time, I don't quite understand why the file is in the image editor when I need to see the 3d view to see the bug.

To reproduce:

  1. Open File
  2. Search and run "Mesh Extract" operator.

I use two monitors, when people use one monitor the windows in the secondary monitors go to the main monitor hidding the main window.

@Alberto Velázquez (dcvertice) best way to prepare demo bug files is to start blender in factory reset mode and save the file in this way
