Problem with users on developer.blender.org
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

I know this is not the right place for this, but it is the only place I can post...

I cannot find a place to reset/change my password on here. A link buried on here sent me to reset my BlenderID, which I thought would fix this issue, however it did not. It sent my email a link to reset my password/give me a new one... but the link was broken (went to a "page not found" on id.blender.org) and now it would appear that I cannot log into my blender ID on that page (I assume it reset my password, but failed to give it to me) - however, my old pass for this (developer.blender.org) still functions.

Are my blender ID account and this one not the same? How can this be fixed? I came here to try to report a blender bug, but instead found a bug on this site...

Click on your avatar at the top->Settings->Password. Should be all you need.

https://developer.blender.org/settings/user/B-Rae/page/password/

That should hopefully work? Let me know.

This is all that appears on that page on my end, however your link does seem to work for me. Hopefully whoever manages the site can ensure this link is available to other users?

There should be a sidebar on the left side (I'm on dark mode)

You don't have that?

It would appear that it hides the menu at low resolutions/vertical window arrangements without any UI indication that there was ever a menu there... the site might need a line of code there so that those options are available at all orientation/resolutions.

Thanks

Hmmm, that's actually something worth reporting maybe. Think you could make a new report about this issue specifically, with screenshots and info about your resolution/layout(and maybe browser)?

Sure, where should I report so it is in the appropriate place?
