When i want to export Collection as fbx in "Batch Mode" active collection dos not work and disabled
when exporting
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

If you are using batch mode, using the
Active Collection
option does not make sense, batch would split up you blend in multiple FBX files [based on the actual setting you are using].Each and every available setting in batch mode would result in only one FBX file if
Active Collection
would be considered [making the whole batch mode obsolete...]Dont see a bug here, closing...
(feel free though to comment again if issues persist...)
So what if we want to export 2 collection we need and put all other garbage in another collection?
Added subscriber: @mont29
Good point, dont think this is possible atm...
@mont29: would it make sense to take
.exclude
into account here?Otherwise, the obvious but weak [eating export time] thing is to just name the garbage collections consistently and get rid of them afterwards...
Again,
Active Collection
would not make sense here (since there is only one active collection your usecase would not be possible here either)We could for sure enhance handling of what to export in the exporters in general (not only FBX), but that is really not a bug, more like a TODO/nice feature to add…
