System Information
Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: nVidia Geforce 1080 GTX

Blender Version
Broken: 2.81.16 (Public release)
Worked: 2.80.75

In sculpt mode, the Move transform tool operation is applied to my model when clicking and dragging inside the negative space of the right side panel, regardless of the currently active brush. This poses a very high likelihood for accidental transformation to the model.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Create a new file.
  • Select the cube.
  • Go into sculpt mode.
  • Open up the right side panel of the 3D viewport (by pressing 'n')
  • Click (and drag) in any negative space within the panel (as shown in the image below)
  • Observe bug: cube is transformed.

Areas where clicking and dragging causes model to transform:

Yeah, someone already reported that #71592

Seems to happen only with the sculpting brushes.

It's the anniversary of this issue, just pointing out that is still there in all LST versions, beta and alpha. @PabloDobarro @pablovazquez

I can no longer reproduce this in 2.93.0.

When I click inside the negative space it no longer transforms the whole model, rather it activates the current brush and behaves as if I'd clicked in any other open space in the viewport, which I wouldn't consider a bug and it may be the intended behavior.

The only minor inconsistency I found is that the mouse cursor doesn't change to a crosshair when starting a sculpt operation from inside the side panel.

It still happens in 3.0, tho I noted that its a bit harder to reproduce, the areas that are affected are different now.

In the view tab for example, only these areas still have this bug

I consider that a bug. It drives me insane.
