Short description of error
Crash when clicking in the viewport after exiting Edit Mode after certain steps

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open Blender with default settings
  2. Add a Cube and name it Cube_A
  3. Add a Subdivision Surface modifier and set the viewport level to 6
  4. Apply the modifier (faces: 24576, triangles: 49152)
  5. Duplicate the cube with shift+D and name it Cube_B
  6. Make a linked duplicate of Cube_B with Alt+D and name it Cube_C
  7. With Cube_B selected, disable it in the viewport (not Hide In Viewport)
  8. With Cube_A and Cube_C selected, go to Edit Mode (multi-editing)
  9. Still in Edit Mode, Select All (A), then Deselect All (Alt+A) - or do Select All (A), then left click to deselect 5~6times
  10. Go to Object Mode
  11. Click in the 3D View
  12. Crash

I am trying to reproduce, but what do you mean with "Toggle Select"

9.Toggle Select = Select All(a) and None(alt+a) In Editmode. Or Select All(a) and LeftClick deselect. 5~6times.

I could actually reproduce the crash here. I updated the steps in the description to use valid English.
