switching alpha to blend mode looses screen space reflection [EEVEE]

broken - 2.82 alpha

I don't know if this is a bug or a limitation - however objects using alpha blend have no screen space reflection at all even if alpha is 1

This is simply a limitation, as is mentioned in the documentation.

I don't understand it as a limitation though - in upbge we had attachments - each object (if it effected a pixel in rendered view) - put an 'attachment' into a buffer.

this worked even if it was using alpha blend.

(typical things that could be put into buffers were Metalness/rough/emit (RGB) or screen space distortion or bloom buffer)
