Short description of error
When pulling up the Simplify Curves option, the curves will simplify very little. There is supposed to be a dropdown titled "error" so you can toggle the amount of simplification. The side bar does not appear

What's the bug?
Simplifies both short and long distances.

All currently supported Blender versions appear to be functioning properly. Executing the operator displays the Adjust Last Operation panel that allows to modify the Distance Error.
Please let us know if you find a way to reproduce this in a currently supported version of Blender and what additional steps are necessary to trigger the bug.
