At some point, we should consider moving the same theme as blender.org. Development of the read the docs theme has slowed down and is not maintained very well.

Initial work started on https://github.com/Blendify/blender-sphinx-theme/

Work to be done:

Layout: Initial layout was done but some fixes/tweaks are needed. The design is to have three columns, from left to right: File navigation (global toc), content, page info (edit page)/navigation (local toc)
Navigation: Something similar to the sidebar on: https://www.blender.org/features/sculpting/
Styling: we want to inherit styling from the blender webassits. This requires imports of scss classes to match sphinx output
