System Information
Windows 10 64 Bits.
Graphics card GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.
Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.83.1 hash:
1af8e0cc6c
Short description of error
Wireframes becoming extremelly jagged at certain degrees (43,45,90...) especially in Object mode, previously they crisp and clear.
{F8311376 size = full}
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).
Two files using the default scene from each, not that it matters but just in case it's needed.

git bisect give
6d3eb85f66
as the faulty commitBut the commit message say :
Note that the aliasing is a bit worse than the old FXAA that we used to have.
So it might be intentional.

Yes unfortunately it is a regression. But that is because of performance improvement of the new method.
I did not managed to get it to the point I wanted but achieving better result is doable.
I just don't have the time to dedicate to this issue for now.
If anyone is willing to help, the file is
outline_detect_frag.glsl
and the function isdiag_dir
