System Information
Operating system: Windows-7-6.1.7601-SP1 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 960/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 361.43
Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.82 (sub 6), branch: master, commit date: 2020-01-08 21:46, hash:
blender/blender@533d146f48
Worked: (optional): In 2.79, "Merge" is not a checkbox option
Addon Information
Name: LoopTools (4, 7, 1)
Author: Bart Crouch, Vladimir Spivak (cwolf3d)
Short description of error
Using LoopTools "Space" command causes Mirror Modifier to disable Merge option when Subdivision Surface modifier is also used AFTER the Mirror. Does not happen if Subdiv is placed before Mirror.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open new file
Edit default cube to add one loop cut and delete half of cube
Add Mirror modifier (Merge is enabled by default)
Add Subdivision Surface modifier
Add a few loop cuts at various distances to each other (to have vertices on which to use "Space")
Select an edge with several vertices, Right-click, choose LoopTools, choose Space.
Be confounded that the Merge option in the Mirror modifier is now disabled.
