I am unable to understand what the issue is that you are trying to report.
You should try using the current daily build to see if your issue is resolved.
If it isn't, please file a new report.
Please follow our submission template and guidelines, also read these tips about bug reports, and make a complete, valid bug report, with required info, precise description of the issue (only ONE issue per report!), precise steps to reproduce it, small and simple .blend and/or other files to do so if needed, etc.
The problem is very simple, no special actions need to be done, the add-on is simply not activated, I can’t turn it on by clicking the desired button, I recorded the video by the link, from and to. I think it will be the easiest way? Translation difficulty = (
I launch the program, the standard scene (cube, flashlight, camera) Settings \ add-ons \ search -PDT, press activation - it does not work, it does not activate.

You are using version 2.83.2
I just tested with version 2.83.13 and had no issue.

Please try using the current daily build to see if your issue is resolved.
Note: before making the recording, when I first tried clicking on the checkbox, it to several seconds for it to work. You might have to wait after clicking to get a response.
