while the blender cycles render engine makes render, image doesnt restore

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. basically cycles render with something scene
  2. Color Management > Display Dev. > sRGB
    3)f12 to rendering
  3. blender reports error in terminal :

It's entirely correct that the file starts with SPILUT 1.0, which is the case for all .spi3d files included in Blender. I'm not sure why OpenColorIO throws an error.

Have you modified any of the files related to color management?

Can you please test the most recent build of Blender 2.83 to see if the issue happens there as well?

It appears you installed Blender through Snap. Does it also happen by downloading from https://www.blender.org/download/? Which Linux distribution and version?

I can't reproduce this with the snap package on Ubuntu 18.04.4.

Can you attach the file '/snap/blender/37/2.82/datafiles/colormanagement/filmic/filmic_desat65cube.spi3d here?

I tried with this setting and it is now seems ok:

Color Management -> View Transform -> Raw ( instead of filmic)
It doesn't throw error but It doesn't use filmic then.

It works with standart as well.

Aha, I think this is a bug in OpenColorIO when using a Turkish locale.

It has code pystring::startswith(pystring::lower(lineBuffer), "spilut")) which is not valid because:
