Rigid Body Contraints effect doesnt copy to new scene #76461

Operating system: Windows-7-6.1.7601-SP1 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1080/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 445.75

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.90 (sub 0), branch: master, commit date: 2020-05-02 22:57, hash: 00ae19e59d
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

select everything in scene and press CTRL + C to copy it.
make new scene and press CTRL + V to paste.
see that rigid body contraints doesnt have any effect : (
cant even fix it if i reenable the settings for it how it looks like : (

guys when you will fix rigid bodys with scene copy bug ?? waiting since month for it since its super important.. or how i can build many complex objects with contraints? in same scene?

Well, what is happening here is that you are copying the properties of the objects and not of the scene.
In the background, there are two hidden collections that you can see in the scene's properties: RigidBodyWorld and RigidBodyConstraints
The solution would be to move all objects that will collide to a "Collection A" and reference there and all Empties indicating constrains to a "Collection B" and reference there.
This may not be intuitive and may change in the future, but it is not a bug.

it took me while to understand.

so if i copy contraints and objects and paste in different scene then the objects get new name and are put to new rigid body world collectiom. that rigidbodyworld collection get enabled automatically in rigid body world>settings> collection.
but problem is that contraints arent getting new RigidBodyContraints collection. and thats why contraints not working in new scene with pasted object+contraints i thought...
here you can see in screenshot that RigidBodyWorld Collection get new Collection with name 001.

There are some real bugs with Rigid Body that deserve attention and have priority.
During their fix, these inconveniences are likely to be considered.
