Armature bone count limit in viewport. #77378

System Information
Operating system: windows 10
Graphics card: Gforce GTX 1060 and quadro M2000 (two systemst tested).

Blender Version
Broken: Tested in Blender 2.83.0 and also present in all previous versions until 2.80
Worked: The issue seems to be present in all versions of 2.8 and forward.

Short description of error

(We are providing few file examples that when opened you will be able to see the issue)

After opening the file you will see that selecting bones on the armature sometimes doesn't work. Some bones are selectable and there is a visual representation showing that the bones are selected. However, some bones do not get selected or update the selection. This is an issue because after that we can not reliably work on the armature and we end up having to divide the rig into different armatures.

We have found that this issue starts appearing at a bone count of about 4096 bones.

This is a limit with how mixed pose & object mode selection is supported.

I've committed a change that increases the limit to 8096, however allowing much larger values would require larger changes to how selection is performed.
