Short description of error
In the Video Editing tool, after cutting some audio and video strips for a while, I started listening to muffled sounds coming from previously deleted sound strips. If I save and reopen the file, the ghost audio disappears for a while, coming back when I start to edit again.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Edit some video file, make a soft cut, remove a piece, save it, close the project. Open project again, everything should be normal so far. Start soft-cutting again and play the video. You should hear the sound coming not only from the remaining piece of the strip but also from the piece that you cut.

It is very random. I used 2.83 for two days without that and now it seems to be happening in every project I open. I'm not sure what triggered it.

@valdiviesso I have trouble reproducing this issue. Is it possible to share simple .blend file with sound file? Or does this bug exist only when project is not reopened?

I can't reproduce it right since I uninstalled version 2.83 due to two bugs I found in the VSE (this and another one) which made its use very frustrating for me. But one thing I can add is that I never experienced this bug when creating a new project, but rather only when reopening one.

I might have time by the end of the week to reinstall that version and reproduce the effect. As soon as I have the time, I'll definitely do it.
