Addon Information

Short description of error
https://blenderartists.org/t/intersecting-faces-but-there-is-no-intersection/1237360
The toolbox tells me that there would be intersecting faces, where there can't be any.
I faced this error the first time, when designing for 3D-printing. I imported a path (or created a path/curve on my own) filled and extruded it to z-direction. When checking now the toolbox it might happen that I get multiple intersecting faces.
The strange thing is, that scaling (in edit mode), moving the origin or moving the bottom or lid changes the number of identified intersections. For this reason I'm quite sure, these are false alarms.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Import or create curve.
Extrude the curve by a profile-curve.
Convert the extruded form to a mesh.
What also leads to problems:
Import curve / draw curve. Convert to mesh.
Fill the curve.
Extrude it.
I hope someone can have a look at this problem as it is really annoying. I don't have any ideas. The only thing I did to blender is, setting up the 3D-Printing environment, using metric scale and modeling in print size. Maybe there is a mathematical problem with float precision?
If I can help you any further, just contact me.

I get zero intersecting faces with the attached file on the latest version. Can you retest with the latest version of Blender/add-on?
This does not happen on latest version. Can be closed
