Short description of error
If flip header in 3D View Area to Bottom (Top by Default) and change area type to another (for example, Image Editor) and change type of area back to 3D View, Header flip from bottom to top.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Create Scene
  • Click RMB on Header of 3D View and Select "Flip To Bottom"
  • Change Area Type from "3D View" to "Image Editor"
  • Change Area Type from "Image Editor" to "3D View"
  • Header in 3D View will be flipped to Top

This issue goes away if you RMB the header and disable the Show tool settings option.

This issue does not occur if you right click the header and disable Show tool settings.
